I had a dream where a little red-haired girl moved to a new town, and was creepily warned by her classmates to dye her hair black or wear a really solid hat at night. She also notices shaved cats, and that everyone has short hair. At night, she wakes up to see a boy attempting to snip her hair. Turned out, the boy was cursed to serve and evil fairy that wanted a coat made out of hair. I have no idea where my brain was going with this, but it seemed cool?
